Martial Arts: University
Baptist Church
has an ongoing martial arts program on Monday Evenings, 6 PM at the Armstrong Center. The class features Judo,
Aikido and weapons classes. Each class is stopped at the mid-point
and the instructor, Black Belt 2nd degree, Mike Coleman, teaches a Bible
lesson. His wife, Beth is the greeter and finds time to share Christ and
prayers for the families who bring the students to class. The classes are
open to ages 6 and up, without charge. The class is designed to teach
discipline and maturity from a Christ perspective.
Clothes
Closet: University Baptist Church has a clothes
department that offers clothing in sizes baby through adult including
coats, shoes and extras for those families in need. Please call the church
to make an appointment so that we can have someone meet you there and allow
you access.
Primera Iglesia Bautista: (Hispanic
Mission) located at 729 W. Corral is a new church sponsored by University
Baptist Church. Services Sunday morning begin at 11:00 a.m. Please contact

Iglésia Bautista
reaches out to the Hispanic Culture in our community. The following picture
