Welcome!

Congratulations Skyler Kumro. Well, from his days with us, first fishing lessons through to high school graduation we've gotten to watch him become a man. Now he's moving to Colorado for college. We wish Skyler the very best Christ has to offer. His mother, Shawnda, on the left, and lil sister Fayth, on the right, don't look too proud do they?

Children's teacher, Julie Tanner, sponsored a trip to the Brownsville Zoo this spring. Our children had to attend a specified number of church classes and memorize a limited number of scriptures to go on trip. Several members of our church judged the memory work. Julie related that "It was a great investment in their lives." So believe we all, thanks Julie.

In June, our children enjoyed an end-of-school party, and were understandably rowdy (bottom right.) For the summer, we offered to pay the way for them to attend Zephyr's Christian  Camp if they would meet two requirements:

 a.) attend church regularly;  

b.) memorize five verses of scripture.

Congratulations to Emma Wilborn who is sponsored to camp in July. Photo below shows Emma at her schools honors program.

 

 

Check out the Events page for pictures of our Missions Fair. Great food, information and a party atmosphere greeted all participants. The people's choice was Mexico. France, China, India and Israel were other nations represented.

 

Alex Munoz has returned from Iraq safely. We continue to pray for our other three as well as all of those serving overseas. God bless you and if you're in town, please drop by for our services.
